diafrag art & publishing is small press publishing, printed matter, artist's books, multiples, mobiles, chap books, post cards, experimental writing, prose, poetry and visual art. diafrag productions rest on the performative powers of hand made shaping and marking (writing, drawing, collage, objects), and the low key mechanical reproduction method of photo print. diafrag investigates flows and boundaries of language situations, visual and text based, in relation to social/cultural vulnerability through literature and art. Plurilingual writing is at the centre of this interest, as is a focus on the problematics of access, memory and belonging. diafrag art & publishing was established in 2002 and is managed by artist and writer Sophie Pucill.
